Amazon Stock (AMZN): Price, Outlook and How to Buy
Amazon.com trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker AMZN — often written NASDAQ: AMZN — spanning e-commerce, the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, advertising and devices. In 2026 the two big themes are AWS reacceleration and a record capital-spending programme. This page is the continuously-updated home for AMZN on WEEX: where to track the price, what drives the stock, and how to get price-linked exposure — including without a US brokerage account.

AMZN price: where to track it
AMZN trades on Nasdaq during US market hours; follow the live quote through any brokerage or market-data service carrying Nasdaq prices under NASDAQ: AMZN. The stock responds above all to AWS growth and to the scale of Amazon's capital spending. Note that all long-run charts are adjusted for the 20-for-1 stock split that took effect in June 2022. For AMZN-linked exposure on WEEX, see the market listings for what is currently offered.
What is Amazon, the business?
Amazon is an e-commerce and cloud company: retail (North America and International) plus AWS, advertising and subscriptions. In the first quarter of 2026 (quarter ended March 31, 2026, reported around April 29, 2026), revenue was US$181.5 billion, up 17% year over year, with diluted EPS of US$2.78 (well ahead of the roughly US$1.73 consensus) and operating income of US$23.9 billion. The headline was AWS, which grew 28% year over year to US$37.6 billion — its fastest in 15 quarters — on AI and Bedrock demand. North America rose 12% to US$104.1 billion and International rose 19% to US$39.8 billion. For Q2 2026, Amazon guided to net sales of US$194–199 billion and operating income of US$20–24 billion. Amazon pays no dividend (it never has, using buybacks instead), and its last stock split was the 20-for-1 in June 2022.
Amazon stock outlook for 2026
Bull case
- AWS reacceleration: +28% YoY to US$37.6 billion in Q1 2026, the fastest growth in 15 quarters, on AI/Bedrock demand
- Earnings beat: Q1 2026 diluted EPS of US$2.78 versus roughly US$1.73 expected, with revenue up 17%
- Investment in capacity: Amazon is guiding to roughly US$200 billion of capital expenditure in 2026, its largest single-year infrastructure outlay, aimed at AI and cloud capacity
Risk factors
- That same roughly US$200 billion of capex can pressure free cash flow and margins if AI monetization lags — the scale has periodically weighed on the stock
- Cloud competition from Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud
- Antitrust and regulatory exposure (FTC)
- Retail and consumer macro sensitivity
- Event risk into the next results, expected around July 30, 2026

How to buy Amazon stock (AMZN)
Route 1 — US brokerage access: buy AMZN directly on Nasdaq during US market hours through a brokerage that offers US equities. This is the route that makes you a shareholder, with voting rights.
Route 2 — on WEEX: if you do not have a US brokerage account, WEEX offers AMZN price-linked exposure via the tokenized stock AMZNON (Amazon Tokenized Stock, issued by Ondo), a blockchain instrument designed to track the share price. Check the market listings for what is currently offered:
- Create a WEEX account and complete verification.
- Deposit USDT.
- Open the AMZN-linked market you want to trade.
- Place your order.
Neither WEEX route is the stock itself — both are price exposure only (Amazon pays no dividend in any case), their price can deviate from the underlying, and leverage amplifies losses as well as gains.
Which route fits you?
| Point of comparison | US brokerage (AMZN) | WEEX (futures / tokenized stock) |
|---|---|---|
| What you hold | Amazon common stock | Futures position or tokenized stock designed to track share pricing |
| Market types | Cash equity | Stock futures and tokenized stock — see the listings |
| Account requirement | US-market brokerage account | WEEX account |
| Trading hours | US market hours | See the market page |
| Shareholder rights | Yes — voting (Amazon pays no dividend) | No — price exposure only |
What are stock futures and tokenized stocks?
Stock futures are leveraged derivatives designed to track a share's price (long or short); tokenized stocks such as AMZNON (Ondo) are blockchain instruments designed to follow it. Both are price exposure only, with no voting rights or direct dividend. Do not confuse either with the leveraged ETFs that track AMZN: AMZU (Direxion Daily AMZN Bull 2X) and AMZZ (GraniteShares 2x Long AMZN) are separate 2x products, not Amazon stock.
