Retail Investors Net Sold $125 Million of Sandisk Stocks Last Week
Retail investors are cashing in on the gains from the rise in technology stocks, net selling $125 million worth of Sandisk stocks last week, the largest net sell-off among all individual stocks. Apple and Tesla also faced net sell-offs of $120 million and $105 million, respectively. During the same period, retail investors net sold $65 million of Nvidia, $40 million of American Airlines, and $22 million of Meta stocks. Over the past two weeks, the net sell-off for both Apple and Tesla has reached $200 million. The total trading volume of individual stocks by retail investors has surged to a record $370 billion, up from $220 billion at the beginning of 2026. After a historic rise in technology stocks, retail investors are locking in profits.
