The STAR 50 ETF of the China STAR Market attracted a net inflow of approximately 14 billion yuan on Monday, setting a historical record and marking the highest single-day level since December 2020. The influx of funds propelled the STAR 50 Index to surge by 11% on Tuesday, the largest single-day increase in nearly two years, following a significant 17% drop the previous week due to leveraged liquidations. Meanwhile, at least five of China's largest insurance companies have pledged to increase their investments in the stock market, with China Life Insurance purchasing over 1.5 billion yuan in stocks and funds.
